Live Concert at Perth Town Hall
An Afternoon of Tango is a relaxed, seated daytime concert at Perth Town Hall, featuring live music by the visiting Hyperion Ensemble (Italy/Argentina), with acclaimed vocalists Marisol Martínez and Lucas Boock from Argentina.
This event is supported by Lotterywest as part of its commitment to arts and cultural participation in Western Australia.
Created as a listening experience rather than a dance event, the concert presents tango in its full expressive range — lyrical, dramatic, and emotionally rich. The programme includes music by Astor Piazzolla and classic composers of tango’s golden era, alongside well-known melodies from film and songs that many listeners will recognise.

Optional free introductory tango dance lesson prior to the concert. Concert-only attendance is very welcome.
